Alicante get high speed internet with fiberglass

ALICANTE – Spain’s largest telecommunications company Telefonica has announced the city of Alicante to go with an extensive fiber optic network so that every resident of the city in the future have access to high speed internet last week.

With its installation and commercial operation which follows later on, that 700 new direct jobs. The total investment for these projects is 65 million.

Earlier this week, Telefonica started the construction of the network in five neighborhoods in the city. End of 2014 is expected to everyone in Alicante have access to the new network and can use to make use of services such as Internet, fixed and mobile telephony and cable TV.
