Because the house is a bit further from the sea, we recommend a (rental) car, but you can also use the local bus or train that runs throughout Gran Alacant.
From the property you have easy access to Santa Pola, Elche and Alicante, each full of charm, interesting architecture and culture. You are also within easy reach of other cities further afield, such as Benidorm, for water and nature parks & nightlife and Valencia, for culture, beautiful buildings and culture. Plenty to see and visit!
You may wish to hire a car or use the frequent local bus services to access the towns and cities. Trains from Alicante center serve Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona.
Alicante is a large city with a fantastic mix of culture, beaches, shopping and dining. You can stroll for hours through the traditional Spanish streets of the old town in the shadow of the historic castle, or go shopping along Maisonnave, the main street and a visit to the particularly beautiful beaches and marina is certainly worthwhile.
The beaches in this area are perfect for water sports: water skiing, diving, snorkeling, windsurfing etc.
